The 2019 Ford EcoSport offers comfortable seats and a surprising amount of interior space for 5 passengers. The EcoSport also has a cool ambient lighting feature that allows you to switch between up to 7 different interior colours. 

There are two engines available in the compact Ford EcoSport: a turbocharged 1.0L EcoBoost 3-cylinder that produces 123 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque and can only be paired with the FWD version of the compact crossover. The other engine available is a 2.0L 4-cylinder paired with the AWD models that’s good for 166 horsepower. Both engines are coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The new EcoSport also offers a nifty swinging tailgate. Replacing a standard lifting tailgate, the Ford EcoSport’s swings to the left. Why is this such an interesting feature? Well, it’s rather ideal for owners who are slightly shorter and struggle to bring down tailgates that lift just a little too high. And the space behind that fancy swinging tailgate is a whopping 592 litres, and with the back seats folded flat, that number jumps to 1,415 litres.
