If you’re looking for fast and fun, it doesn’t come much better than this: the 2018 Ford Focus RS Limited Edition. This is the final year for the Model and only 500 of them are available in Canada at all. In response to fan requests and demand, Ford has created a limited-edition performance Focus RS. Previously optional features are now standard. There are exclusive colors and design elements. Dubbed the “hot hatch,” the 2018 Focus RS satisfies the demand for a higher performance RS.
Again, there are only 500 of these beauties available in Canada and Tusket Ford has one of them!
The 2018 Ford F-150 is without question the most capable F-150 ever! Under the hood this year you’ll find more horsepower, more torque and more gears.
It’s always amazing to me how a holiday like Christmas can sneak up to you. Am I the only one who feels this? Everybody knows Christmas is coming; it’s not exactly a secret. On Social media from Mid-November on (sometimes earlier) people are talking about, and posting pictures of, decorated trees.
In the stores Christmas has been a presence since just after Remembrance Day. Christmas music has been played for what seems like forever.
And yet here we are just a few days out, and I’m thinking, “Whaaat?? How did this happen so quickly?”
The Christmas Countdown has begun, and it’s time for Tusket Ford’s 12 Days of Christmas!
Every Day Gives You a Different Bonus
We are proud to unveil our new Tusket Ford Pre-Owned Certified Program!
It’s that time of year again. Christmas is approaching, too quickly for some and for others not quickly enough. For me Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. It can be very hectic, but it’s a time to get back in touch with my inner child, and to regain a small bit of that sense of wonder that children feel most acutely as the holidays close in.
For Many It’s Not an Easy Time
Here’s a scary statistic for you. According to the 2016 Report Card on Child and Family Poverty in Nova Scotia, more than 1 in 5 children are living in poverty. Nova Scotia now has the third-highest provincial child poverty rate in Canada, and the highest rate in Atlantic Canada.
Sobering, isn’t it?
Where most this time of year dream of Christmas celebrations, decorations, presents and feasts, there are many who look to Christmas with a sense of dread. How do you afford Christmas when it’s a struggle to just put a roof over your family’s head?
At this time of year, perhaps more than any other, those who have should take the time to think about those who have not.

Tusket Ford is proud (and excited) to be the official Dealer in Atlantic Canada for Roush Performance Vehicles and parts! If you’re not sure about what Roush is exactly, Roush is the namesake of its founder, auto mogul Jack Roush. Jack is a co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing, a NASCAR team. He formed Roush Performance in 1995, with the goal of bringing racing performance to street vehicles.
ROUSH Performance’s mission is to deliver high quality, high performance automotive products. That includes completely assembled pre-titled vehicles, aftermarket performance parts, performance crate engines, performance part installation, hot rod restoration, and custom graphics.
These vehicles are fantastic looking, and fantastic running; they are fast, they are fun, and they are built to last!
It’s beginning to look a lot like…Autumn! Halloween has come and gone, the weather is slowly turning, and as we all know, soon winter will arrive, whether we want it to or not.
‘Tis The Season…
Around the dealership here, thoughts have turned to tire season. Look around and you’ll find tire displays in multiple spots. You’ll find ads for tire sales, coupons that will save you money on a 4-wheel Alignment, and even a Toyo Tire contest that could win you some nice looking skis! Why all the fuss? Because you NEED winter tires. I don’t mean you need to buy them; if you already have a set, hey, that’s fine. What I mean is:
Did you know that in Canada over 4 million meals a year are provided by Food Banks? That from 2008 through 2016 there was a 28% increase in the use of Food Banks, and that 36% of those helped by Food Banks in Canada are children. Canada has more than 800 Food Banks and 3 thousand food programs.
Can you imagine trying to get through your everyday life hungry, and not sure where your next meal is coming from? The reality is that in Canada, there are many who live exactly that way. The reality is that in the tri-counties, right here in our own back yard, there are plenty who live that way.
